The programme is dedicated to provide more information
on recycling and create the awareness of recycling among Malaysians.
Why recycle more?
Malaysians produce 7.34 million tonnes of solid
waste a year, which is equivalent to 42 same sized Petronas Twin
Tower. Majority of the solid waste that we dispose are recyclable and
our local authority spent 60% of their annual budget on waste
management.
