Let’s recycle for environment sustainability!
The first ever Green Campaign in Ipoh city will be held in the Ipoh Parade Shopping Centre from 5th to 7th June 2007. It aims to promote active citizen participation in caring for our environment. The focus of this event will be on creating awareness of environment sustainability and promoting daily 3R practices: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Under the initiative of the Perak State Government and the Ipoh Municipality, and in conjunction with World Environment Day 2007, a new community programme will be launch. It will be addressed by the Ipoh City Mayor, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Mohamad Rafiai and officiated by Y.B. Dato Chang Ko Youn, Perak State Executive Councillor. MyKad Recycle Rewards Community Programme is a systematic and efficient recycling platform to encourage continuous recycling by all citizens. It is also to enhance the use of MyKad in our daily life.
