Through the statistic obtained from the Ministry of Housing
and Local Government, it has shown that the major waste
producer is residential area. In order to provide more convenience
for the recycler, our company also provides door to door
recyclable items collection at the designated residential
area. Every time they give us their recycle item, we would
reward them with nRinggit (recycle rewards point).
Aside from having the door to door waste collection, every
housing scheme would also have a built-in resource recovery
centre. If the recycler was not at home during the time of
our door-to-door collections, they could still send the recyclable
item to our designated resource recovery centres.
Aside from providing recyclable item collection service, in
the later stage of the programme we would also educate households
on way to produce organic compost from their food waste. Through
the education programmes and awareness, it is hoped that one
day we are able to achieve zero waste from our household and
eliminate the needs of having a landfill.
